AUBRY, Georges Born 1871 Mirecourt, died 1936 Paris France. Grandson and pupil of G. Deroux. Employed by J. E. Mennesson in Rheims, and then by his uncle S. A. Deroux. Subsequently assisted G. Bernardel in 1904, then E. Marchand in Paris, and Bossard-Bonnel in Rennes. Established at Paris c.1910. Chiefly a repairer and restorer. There are a few fine instruments extant bearing his brand.
