XENEUMONT, Alexandre Born 1792, Worked from 1911, died 1819 Liège Belgium. Established in rue Pecheur, Liège. One lyre-guitar and one violin both bearing repair labels of 1814, the latter in the Brussels Musical Instruments Museum (ex-Snoeck collection). The violin is of unsophisticated work on Stradivari model with yellow-brown varnish, its label indicating an association with J. Sohet. Réparé par Alexandre Xeneumont luthier en Pecheurue No. 1408, Liège, 1814. Raccommodé par Xheneumont au nom de Sohet, l’année 1814 A.X.
