Paul Arno Born 1881 Markneukirchen, died 1970 Manchester UK. Pupil of Schmidt. Briefly employed by R. Weichold in Dresden. Worked for T. E. Hesketh in Manchester from 1899. Established independently in Oxford Road, Manchester from 1905. Fine work on Stradivari and Guarneri models with varnish of appropriate shades. Highly regarded as a repairer. Paul Voigt.
