Developed photography processes for Kodak and built his own historically significant ‘Stanley Steamer’ steam powered car 1906. Highly proficient amateur violin maker with distinctive Stradivari-derived personal model. Narrow widely-spaced soundholes with Guadagnini-like oval finials. Low arch with deeply sunk edge flute.
