Eugen (I) Born 1882 Stuttgart, died 1953 Frankfurt Germany. Youngest son and pupil of Anton Sprenger (II), above. Worked with his brother Adolf in Munich from 1900, having gained experience in Switzerland and England. Established independently in Frankfurt 1907. Closed the shop for the duration of the First World War, 1914-1919, but resumed thereafter in the Hochstrasse. Fine classical copies. Also made plucked instruments.
