Pierre Born 1765 Mirecourt, d. after 1820 Paris. Bow maker. Son of Charles Sirjean. Apprenticed as a violin maker, but worked as a bow maker in Paris from c.1801. Recorded at 14 rue de Fleurus 1809, 31 rue de l’École 1818, and returning to rue de Fleurus 1820. Only two bows cautiously attributed to him. [Millant/Raffin]
