SELLAS, Zuanne Born 1726 Candon, Treviso, d. after 1760 Venice Italy. Nephew and successor of Matteo Sellas, below. Luthier to the Ospedale della Pietà, Venice. Occupied the workshop in Calle dei Stagneri until 1760 when he retired from violin making. His place was taken by Giorgio Serafin. No individual work of his is presently known. [Pio]
