ONGARO, Zuanne (Giovanni) Born 1708, died 1779 Venice Italy. Pupil and son-in-law of Matteo Gofriller. Established independently in the Calle dei Stagneri, Venice from c.1740 and resident in Corte del Lovo, parish of San Felice from 1748. Employed Domenico Busan and assisted in later years by his son and successor Ignazio, above. Involved with repairs and general instruments dealing to a great extent. Work unidentified. [Pio]
