MULLER, Albert Carl Born 1919 San Francisco, Worked from 1969 Sacramento, California USA. Violin and bow maker. Pupil of Louis Prince from 1938; later trained with Abraham Koodlach. Worked for Sherman & Clay and Emil Herrmann. Moved to Sacramento 1969 and established independently there from 1979. Over 200 violins, 50 violas, and 20 cellos, mostly on Stradivari models. Oil and spirit varnishes. Also several bows. Certificates awarded at the Violin Society of America competitions in 1976, 1978, 1982, and 1984. [Wenberg]
