MÖLLER, Berend Max Born 1944 Amsterdam, died 1989 Huizen Netherlands Son of Guillaume Max Möller, below. Trained at Mittenwald, worked for J. Eulry, W. Hamma, P. Gerber, P. Vidoudez, E. Vatelot, J. & A. Beare, and W. Moennig before returning to Amsterdam in 1973 to assist his father. Succeeded to the business after Guillaume Max retired 1980, assisted by his wife Cornelie. Tragically killed during a burglary at his home in Huizen. The shop was continued for several years by Cornelie with the assistance of H. Leonhardt. Few instruments came from his own hand but he was responsible for a great deal of fine restoration and expertise at the Möller shop. [NGV]
