MEIER-PAUSELIUS, Wilhelm Born 1895 Hamburg Germany. Pupil of August Diehl and Georg Winterling 1910-1913. Worked for several makers in Germany, Italy, France, and Scandinavia. Passed the master’s examinations and established independently in Hamburg 1921. Shortly afterward worked for two years in San Francisco, returning to Hamburg in 1925. Stradivari and Guarneri models with golden-red oil varnish.
