A maker in Cremona in 1727. A very beautiful viola d'amore of his is known, the belly made of good pine, the back and sides of beautifully marked maple; the carved neck ends in a woman's head with eyes bandaged, it has 17 pegs; the varnish is light, a golden yellow colour, and the work is carefully finished.
