BOLINK, Jan Hendrik Born 1913, died 1998 Enschede Netherlands Studied art at the Rijksacademie, the Hague. Active maker in Amsterdam, producing violins and cellos in good numbers, as well as some double basses. Retired from business in 1967, handing over the shop to his son Jaap, but continued to make instruments until his death. [NGV]
