BELLAROSA, Riccardo Born 1871 Naples, died 1941 Rome Italy. Trained as a violinist. Learned violin making in the Gagliano and Postiglione workshops. Made very little himself, but was much appreciated as a repairer and restorer, and as a connoisseur and expert. Appointed expert to the Naples Law Court and juror at several major competitions.
